- Description
- Many of us experience the activities which fill our everyday lives as meaningful, and to do so we must (and do) hold them to be important. However, reflection undercuts this confidence. It suggests that they are not as important as we think, and implies that our activities and our lives are not really as meaningful as we suppose. A life of cultured leisure is at least one way of making our lives more meaningful. It is a way to meaning through knowledge.
